Ingredients

  • 600g pudding rice

  • 3L whole milk

  • 500ml double cream

  • 300g sugar

  • 3 tsp vanilla extract

  • 100g butter

  • 1 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 160°C (fan).

Step 2

Mix rice, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg in a deep tray.

Step 3

Pour milk and cream over the mixture, stir gently.

Step 4

Dot butter on top and bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Serve warm with fruit or jam.
