Ingredients
2.5 kg apples, peeled and chopped
1 litre water
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Peel and chop apples into small pieces.
Step 2
Add apples, water, cinnamon, and vanilla to a saucepan.
Step 3
Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes until apples are soft.
Step 4
Mash slightly for a smoother texture.
Step 5
Serve warm as a dessert or topping for porridge.
