Ingredients
1.5 kg pasta (whole grain or regular)
4 cans tuna in water (drained)
2 kg canned sweetcorn (drained)
1.5 litres low-fat milk
200g cheese (cheddar), grated
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a pan, melt butter, add flour, and stir to create a roux. Gradually add milk to make a smooth sauce.
Step 4
Add tuna, sweetcorn, and the sauce to the cooked pasta and mix well.
Step 5
Transfer to a baking dish, top with grated cheese, and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
