Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg pasta (whole grain or regular)

  • 4 cans tuna in water (drained)

  • 2 kg canned sweetcorn (drained)

  • 1.5 litres low-fat milk

  • 200g cheese (cheddar), grated

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a pan, melt butter, add flour, and stir to create a roux. Gradually add milk to make a smooth sauce.

Step 4

Add tuna, sweetcorn, and the sauce to the cooked pasta and mix well.

Step 5

Transfer to a baking dish, top with grated cheese, and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
